Gary Moore - Angel (Jimi Hendrix)

Gary Moore (R.I.P.) paid tribute to Jimi Hendrix playing and singing "Angel".
Written and self-produced by Hendrix, the song was recorded few months before he died in September 1970, and was later released on 1971 posthumous studio album The Cry of Love.

"Angel" has been covered by a number of artists. One of first covers was done by Rod Stewart and released on his 1972 album Never a Dull Moment.
One of latest versions was one recorded by Gary Moore in 2007 for the live tribute album Blues for Jimi, released posthumously in 2012.
