Scott Henderson
Scott Henderson (born August 26, 1954) in his early age was influenced by great guitarists such as Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Jimi Hendrix, Ritchie Blackmore, and the great blues guitarists Albert King and Buddy Guy.
Though Henderson claims to be more of a blues-rock player, it was the influence of jazz that led him to the style of playing and composing.

After finishing school at Florida Atlantic University, then moved to Los Angeles where he played and recorded with Chick Corea's Elektric Band, Jean-Luc Ponty, and with Weather Report's keyboardist Joe Zawinul.
In 1984 Henderson formed the band Tribal Tech with bassist Gary Willis, and recorded nine critically acclaimed albums. In 1991, he was named by Guitar World as the #1 Jazz Guitarist, and in January 1992, he was named #1 Jazz Guitarist in Guitar Player's Annual Reader's Poll.

Besides being a world class player and premier composer, Scott's trademark is his beautiful tone and striking ability to blend Blues, Rock, Funk, and Jazz, creating a soulful and unique voice on the guitar.
