Born in Washington D.C. Pete Huttlinger is one of the most inspiring acoustic guitar players in the world. His unique arrangements, musicality and precision have entertained audiences from all over the world. He started to play guitar at 14, and soon after he graduated from high school, he decided to study at Berklee College of Music where he deeper his knwledge on music theory and harmony.
In 2000 Pete won National Fingerpick Guitar Championship at the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, Kansas.
As a solo artist he performs across the U.S. and Europe. He has performed on numerous Grammy-winning and Grammy-nominated projects. He has also been nominated for an Emmy. In 2007, Huttlinger made his debut at New York City’s Carnegie Hall. He was also invited to participate in 2004 and 2007 Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Festivals.

On January 11, 2016 Pete Huttlinger suffered a second stroke, and died four days later at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center at the age of 54.
