Marcel Powell (born Louis Marcel Powell de Aquino, March 30, 1982, Paris) is a Brazilian guitarist. He is the son of Baden Powell and the brother of Philippe Powell de Aquino. He started to play guitar as 9 year old kid and appeared on 2 CDs of his famous father, "Baden Powell and children" and "Suite Afro-Brasileira".
His father, famous Baden Powell didn't want his children to be musicians, however Philippe won a guitar and Marcel while living in Germany chose the musical career. He studied violin for five years but was delighted by the guitar and made his choice.
