Doug de Vries is one of Australia’s best, most experienced and versatile guitarists and composers, excelling in many musical genres from jazz to choro, samba and bossa nova.

He has toured and recorded with major artists including: Diana Clark, Don Burrows, Kate Ceberano, Vince Jones, Barbara Morrison and Andy Bey from the United States and Yamandu Costa, Mauricio Carrilho, Proveta from Brazil.

Doug de Vries is regularly invited to music festivals; a recent highlight the 2010 Adelaide International Guitar Festival where he featured with Yamandu Costa.
