Clive Carroll was described by Acoustic Guitar Magazine as "probably the best and most original young acoustic guitar player and composer in Britain". Born in 1975 he grew up in the Irish music tradition, but soon he has been immersed in a diverse range of music.
When Clive was only eighteen months old his father made for him his first banjo and soon Clive was playing regularly with the family band. This was not surprise that some years later in 1998 he achieved a 1st Class Honours degree in Guitar and Composition from Trinity College, London where he attended with other guitar wizrd Guthie Govan. Clive's debut solo album was released in 1999 under the Old Bridge Music record label and has been lauded by John Renbourn, John Williams and Christy Moore amongst others. Earlier this year Clive was included in Total Guitar Magazine's “Top 10 Acoustic Guitarists of all Time”. He was touring with acoustic guitar giants John Renbourn and Tommy Emmanuel, released 3 solo albums and appeared on 2 live DVDs.

Clive Carroll releasing new album June 07, 2016 "The Furthest Tree" is the title of Clive's new CD released on May 23. Apart of original songs it also includes duets with famous John Williams.
