Anton Jimenez is one of the leading today's flamenco guitarists in the world. Born to a gitano family in 1975. On his mother's side, his family is related to the first recorded flamenco solo guitarist, Ramon Montoya.

Anton accompanied Joaquin Cortes for many years, and is seen in playing farruca for Joaquin in the movie "Flamenco" by Carlos Saura. He has also accompanied such well known singers as Diego el Cigala and Montse Cortes, among many others. He has a career touring Europe and internationally as both a solo guitarist and in several small group formats. He is currently on tour promoting a new CD. He will be in Puerto Rico before coming to NYC and will go to Finland afterwards.
