One of the most influential and respected electric guitar players in the world, Marty Friedman is best know as lead guitarist for heavy metal band Megadeth. Until 1989 he was playing playing alongside Jason Becker in Cacophony band. When Cacophony disbanded he officially joined Megadeth in February 1990. In 1992 Megadeth with Friedman released Countdown to Extinction, which was more commercial album, and sold double platinum. During his time in Megadeth, Friedman released three solo albums between 1992 and 1996. After moving to Japan in 2003, Marty Friedman appeared on over 700 Japanese television programs, collaborated with Japan bands and released his first library of guitar loops on LoopArtists.
